HighEdWebDev 2006 First Impressions

Just a quickie between sessions, but so far so good. All the “gear” is familiar to anybody who has gone to a conference at a hotel before. The same chairs, the same tables, the same food, the same hit-and-miss wireless… The organizing team has done a fabulous job though. The program guide and all the other information given to us in our check-in packet has been very helpful. The pocket schedule has already been invaluable.

But in terms of “collective intelligence” it’s a bit lacking. No conference wiki or mailing list as far as I can tell.
