The Technology and Learning Program offered faculty a chance at an iPad by signing up for Blackboard Learn intersession training, if they registered before end of day on January 3rd. We waited until this week to draw the winner to be sure that those who signed up for workshops actually attended. Our winner is from the Finance and Marketing Department, Professor Emily Huang.
Congratulations, Emily!
We were pleasantly surprised by all the attention this iPad offer brought. We ended up with almost one hundred faculty entered into the raffle. Many faculty have chosen to teach with Bb Learn this spring semester and we are very proud of their hard work during the three weeks before the semester begins.

Love the spin the digital wheel! Where/how can I access that tool?

In answer to your question, Donna, this application was designed by Thomas Somma from Academic Technologies. He works with Scott Kodai in the Distributed Learning Technologies unit. I’m sure he would be happy to share it. – Laura
